After some difficulties during qualifying, HWA driver Gary Paffett managed to catch up successfully at the Formula E race in Paris: in the pouring rain, he broke away from his competitors and made it from rank 17 to rank 8, scoring another four points for HWA and himself. Congratulations on this impressive show of force! Paffett’s teammate Stoffel Vandoorne got in a collision and had to capitulate.
Dutchman Robin Frijns (Envision Virgin) won the Paris E-Prix. He also leads the overall ranking, followed by the two German drivers André Lotterer (DS Cheetah) and Daniel Abt (Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler). Frijns currently has a slight one-point advantage in the Formula E championship to André Lotterer.
